The International Social Service-West Africa (ISS-WA) was created in 2012 in Burkina Faso. It is registered in Senegal with the status of International Organization in 2018. ISS-WA aims at human development, through the protection of children, as well as capacity building of families and communities to improve their self-care and protection. It serves as a technical support for its different partners. ISS-WA is based in Dakar, Senegal, with a staff composed of professionals of different West African nationalities, for the implementation of its main activities and transversal actions.
