Alternative Care

In partnership with the General Secretariat of the International Social Service, ISS-WA is implementing in Burkina Faso, a project on alternative care entitled "Another future is possible: promoting foster care for disabled children without parental support". The objective of the project is to find foster families for children with disabilities who have been abandoned by their families in different shelters because of their disability. This project is implemented in partnership with the Government of Burkina Faso.

International Social Work

International Social Work delivered by members of the International Social Service Network involves coordinated collaboration between social services in different countries to carry out social assessments and exchange information with the aim of finding solutions to complex social problems involving more than one country, relating to children in particular.
